 Hi

I am running Domino V 9 on the server, but the user is running Notes Standard V8.5.1 on laptop.

Seeing odd problem where user is sending emails to colleague but mysteriously another user name is being tagged on the end. A '.' is being added between the two names which is causing mail routing problems.

I have asked the user to delete Recent Contacts and delete Recent Contacts Trash. As well as delete the workspace folder.

However, the problem persists.

On this particular users mailbox I have upgraded template on the server 8.5mail template. Ran fixup, compact -c and updall -R.

I am going to recall user and install Notes 9 client, but not sure that will fix it.

Here is a example of what is happening.

Main User/GB@SGB. Other Name/_GB

There are no rules or agents on the mailbox.

Odd thing is if a user replies to Main User email they receive, even though Other Name is not in the To or CC field, the reply is being sent back to Main User/GB@SGB. Other Name/_GB

Thank you

PURGE_RECENT_CONTACTS=1
Hi Paula,

How is the user's lookup configured in the Location document, and is this just happening for the one user on one workstation?

If it's just one user, you might want to clear the DIP table also: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21570490 - was the entire workspace directory (including the DIP table) removed in the purge? You might still want to use the suggested parameter in case the Recent Contacts and DIP table repopulated one another in the process.

If it's more than one user, is there any possible overlap between the two in the User Name field of the Person document? Less likely, but I would look here next if the above doesn't help. You might also consider debugging the client lookup, but at that point I would suggest you might wish to open a PMR anyway.

Best,
